Climate

Due to its low level, Lanzarote is beneath the level of humid and warm air. In general, this results in dry climate with minimal rain. Lanzarote enjoys a mild, arid climate with average daytime temperatures ranging from about 21 in January to 29 in August making Lanzarote a year-round destination. The sea temperature varies between 17 and 24 at the surface.

There is sunshine for many hours year-round. Many enjoy the expansive white-sand beaches and clear waters. The wind is constant and moderate almost all year, making Lanzarote a suitable location for water sports, boating, windsurfing and kitesurfing . Puerto del Carmen, Papagayo, Famara, Orzola or Las Cucharas, are just some of the beaches you can bask in.
